Sonam Kapoor's career is on upward swing. Post Saawariya the pretty lass is busy shooting for Delhi 6 in Rajasthan with Abhishek Bachchan. And now we hear that Rakesh Roshan is planning to cast her in next opposite Hrithik Roshan.

But the insider claims, Rakesh was keen to cast Sonam and hence he visited her father Anil Kapoor and spoke to him about casting her. Apparantly, Anil was very thrilled and immediately agreed that Sonam be paired opposite Hrithik in Rakesh's next film.

Rakesh saw Saawariya and was very impressed with Sonam's performance in the film. He thought that she was brilliant and will look very good with his son.

When contacted, Rakesh didn't confirm or deny the news. He said, "I am still working on the script."
