Right from his childhood days, Nikhil Diwedi has considered Anthony Gonsalves (Amitabh Bachchan) as his guru, but had never even dreamt that he would some day, like his guru, be able to say ‘I am Anthony Gonsalves'.

Unfortunately, although he has had the opportunity to do an Amitabh Bachchan in "My name is Anthony Gonsalves', his voice did not reach the audience. In fact, he is hurt that the audience did not even visit the theatres to watch the movie!

However, there is no reason for Nikhil to be demoralized for despite the neglect and ignorance of the audience, his talents have been appreciated by the industry and the directors.

A friend of Shah Rukh Khan and follower of Amitabh Bachchan, Nikhil has been flooded with four films within just two weeks of the release of ‘My name is Anthony Gonsalves'.

The first film is Shivam Nair's "Arjun', while the second one is untitled yet. While much has been talked and written about ‘Arjun', the second film is being made under the banner of Synergy Films.

Even Aamir Khan's South remake of ‘Ghajini' is being made under the banner of Synergy Films. In addition, Nikhil has been offered a film by Tigmanshu Dhulia where his other co-star is Govinda.

The fourth film is a multi-starer and is being made under the banner of Risk Advertising and Media.

While these are only a few films that Nikhil has bagged thus far, the general feeling is that his friendship with Shah Rukh Khan is helping him a lot.

However, little do people know that Nikhil belongs to a very wealthy family in Allahabad and his family has had a great role in bolstering his career in Bollywood.

According to sources, Nikhil's family is trying its best to establish him in the industry and since his family has connection with many top guns in Bollywood, in addition to Shah Rukh, everyone seems to be backing him.

Now it remains to be seen how much Nikhil achieves with all the support in the Bollywod world. Will he be able to fulfill his dreams of becoming the next Shah Rukh?
