The talented Deepshika will play a role closely based on the life of columnist, Shobha De in 'Media Magnate' Nari
Hira's film, 'Bhram'.
Shobha De who is now famous for her write-ups on stars and their personal lives was given her first break as the
editor of the magazine Stardust, by Nari Hira.
Deepshika's character will resemble Shobha De closely, from the look to the personality, to even finer details of
Shobha's trademark silk and chiffon saris with her characteristic bindi and jewellery.
The character will be named Sunita in the film; she is a Page 3 journalist by profession, who thrives on writing
spicy news of the rich and famous. A lady always on the lookout for juicy controversies, she is all set to expose
Milind Soman, who plays an investment banker and tries to destroy his good-will.
According to sources, Bhavna Iyer, who has written the story for 'Bhram', was also an editor previously with
Stardust and hence she is aware of all the look-outs of Shobha for spicy news.
Talking about her role, Deepshika says, "I am playing the character of a good looking, but nosey Page 3 journalist
who is on the lookout for scoops and scandals. The character is stylish with classy saris and funky jewellery. But
the character is very bitchy."
So as all eyes await the release of the thriller 'Bhram', directed by Pawan Kaul, starring Milind Soman, Dino
Morea, Sheetal Menon and Simone Singh, we really hope the columnist takes this film in right spirits!!
