Actress Shabana Azmi will soon tread familiar ground. Currently in Mauritius for Onir's 'Sorry Bhai', she has said yes to Anubhav Sinha's political satire 'Zindabad'.

The film to be directed by Anil Chowdhary has been written by Anubhav, who will also produce the movie. Says the director: 'It's a political satire formatted as a farce. The script was written by Anubhav Sinha.'

The movie also stars Anupam Kher and veteran A.K. Hangal.

Nandana Sen, who plays a pivotal part, is mighty charged about the project. 'I've never done an overtly political film before. It's a fabulously funny political satire about the world around us. It will make audiences sit and think.'

Anubhav has for a very long time been keen to work with Shabana. 'She's one of those actors with whom you've to work to be able to consider your oeuvre complete.'

Shabana's film with Onir, 'Sorry Bhai', co-stars Sanjay Suri, Chitrangada Singh and Sharman Joshi.
