"Ever since our inaugural tournament we have seen some interest from Bollywood personalities and we are at an advanced stage of discussions with a few of them," Ashish Kaul, the executive vice-president of Essel Group.
"I will not take individual names of actors who will join the ICL, but I can say that talks are on with some of them," he adds.
ICL sources also inform that instead of buying the teams, both Aamir and Kareena are going for multiple sponsorships with the Lahore Badshahs and Mumbai Champs, respectively.
According to the deals, Lahore Badshahs' players like Inzamam-ul-Haq, Azhar Mahmood and Mohammad Sami will feature in the promotions of Aamir's films in the future. Aamir and the other stars of his film will also perform in the ICL matches that the Lahore Badshahs will play.
The ICL is promoted by Subhash Chandra's Essel Group, which also owns Zee TV. Kareena had performed at the opening ceremony of the inaugural edition of the ICL in Panchkula.
