A commemorative stamp featuring the hearthrob of yesteryears' Madhubala was released by the Postal department here on Tuesday.



Along with the commemorative stamp, a special DVD detailing stamps on Indian film was also released. Well known filmmaker Manoj Kumar was the chief guest at the glittering function attended amongst secretary, Department of Posts I M G Khan alongwith late Madhubala's sister - Madhur Bhushan were also present.

Other veteran film personalities who were present on the occasion included noted filmmaker Shakti Samanta, Ameen Sayani, famous popular announcer, actress Shashikala, Sonali Kulkarni and others.

The film personalities praised the legendry beauty of Madhubala and her contributions to the Indian films.
