A.: I am listening to "Ek Allah" from the film "Black and White". Besides, I am enjoying few English songs.
Q.: Which film songs from the recent releases have appealed most to you?
A.: I like the songs from the recently released Pakistani film "Khuda Ke Liye" and also, I like the songs of "Race". Amongst all the songs Atif Aslam's "Pehli nazar me", though it's rumored as a copy, is appealing me the most.
Q.: Which are your five all time favorite songs?
A.: I would like to mention songs like 'Satrangi re' from "Dil Se", 'Norulalla' from "Meenakshi", 'Nehi rakhta kuchh dil me, rakhta hun juba par' from Lucky Ali's album, 'Kaun disa me leke chala re batohia' from the film "Nadia Ke Paar" and 'Jia jale' from "Dil Se".
Q.: Which is your favorite romantic song?
A.: 'Kabhi kabhi mere dil me khayal aata hai' from the film "Kabhi Kabhi".
Q.: What do you like most – original or remix?
A.: I don't like remixes at all. I really appreciate originals.
Q.: Which opinion is most close to your heart – 'Today's songs are better than oldies', 'Today's songs are as good as oldies had been' or 'Today's songs are worse than oldies'.
A.: I think things get transformed with elapsing time and songs also fall into the same category of things. Today's music is for the present generation. But if going into comparison, I would like to prefer the oldies.
Q.: How do you look at the concept – Old is Gold?
A.: Old is always gold. But at the same time, if you look at the present generation of music, you should find something better than the past generation because there is always something new in the transformation.
But as far as love for the oldies is concerned, it'll remain there forever. They are always very close to my heart.
