Tejaswini Kolhapure`s debut film Paanch is ready for release. More than the actress it is her elder sister Padmini Kolhapure, who`s jittery.Tejaswini, hasn`t even called her friends, leave alone producers to have a dekko at her film. It is being said that the likes of Shyam Benegal, Govind Nihalani and Sudhir Mishra have liked so much that they wished they had made the film instead.
With so much hype surrounding the film, this "volcano of talent" according to the Kapoors - Anil, Boney and Sanjay - is taking things easy. She did get many offers from big producers but has been declining them. She is not even seen attending press conferences or doing television interviews for the promotion of the film.Instead she was seen having a good time with friends and nephews (Padmini`s children), at the Juhu beach. Poonam Dhillon, a long time family friend commented, "She is completely unaffected unlike the fiercely competitive youngsters all out to kill anybody."
Surely this trait in her is refreshing. But with a producer for a jija (Tutu Sharma), and "family like the Kapoors as friends", does she really have to worry?
