Akshaye Khanna is a terrific actor. In Farhaan Akhtar`s Dil Chahta Hai, he threatened to steal the show from Aamir Khan at times. In Abbas Mustan`s Humraaz, his role was the only talking point in an otherwise disappointing movie. Since the latter was released, people in the industry cannot stop talking about how talented Khanna junior is. What they also can`t stop talking about is his mood swings, of which a scribe got a fair dose recently.

After having gone to interview Akshaye recently, this journalist kept on firing one question after another. Not her fault, since that is her job after all. The actor kept on answering these questions with a bored look on his face, which suggested: what the hell was she doing there anyway? Suddenly, the actor got up and walked up to the place to where her dictaphone had been kept. He switched it off abruptly, which resulted in a startled look on the girl`s face. Then he walked up to the door, suddenly realised he had made a mistake, and asked her whether his driver could drop her somewhere or if she needed help with getting a cab.

The girl was so taken aback by the experience that she hurriedly said `thank you` to him and left the place. We don`t blame her really. All of us have heard of all kinds of star tantrums, but this is the first time anybody had to undergo an experience in which an actor actually switched off the dictaphone! Perhaps, Akshaye was not in the right frame of mind. But whatever the truth might be, it is a strange thing to do!
