Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? the show that is acknowledged as the biggest ever on the face of Indian television has lived up to all expectations and more; according to TAM reports, it has reached out to 17.4 million cumulatively by the end of the first two episodes. This is nearly 20% of the Hindi Speaking Market (HSM) viewers. Within just two days of launch.
On both the days, Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26, Paanchvi Pass was the preferred choice among viewers as compared to IPL on both the days in the 8 to 9 pm timeslot.
On Friday Paanchvi Pass delivered a 4.6 rating Vs MAX which averaged 4.1 TVR and on Saturday, Paanchvi Pass delivered a 3.7 rating Vs MAX at 3.6 TVR.
Also among the 'Female' target segment, KAPPTH? ratings are 58% higher than those of IPL (SET MAX) ratings on the same slot. Besides this, the show has managed to gain immense traction among the 'Kids' TG garnering 8.1 TVR among the Girls (10-14 years of age) and 5.7 among the Boys (10-14 years of age).
The other GE channels have been impacted adversely and seen a significant drop in numbers. The maximum blow has been to Zee TV whose 8pm to 9pm slot has decreased from 38% in the last 13 week average to 24% this week.
