She was better known as Akshaye Khanna's girl and even Fardeen's one-time good buddy when she dilly-dallied for a year over whether she should join the movies. But Tara Sharma's credentials would give most Bollywood actresses a massive complex. She has a degree in Management from the US with specialization in Financial Management.
She has even done a stint at an acting institute. To top it all, she is veteran theatre and radio personality Pratap Sharma's daughter. She intends to put all her skills to "good use". Her debut film, Om Jai Jagadish, sank without a trace, but the girl has signed three new films, in which she is playing characters that are poles apart from the bold, sassy Liril girl.
She cares a fig for all the speculation revolving around her, "If I am linked with three guys at the same time, I can only laugh at such rumours," she says. But isn't she currently dating a good-looking dude? "That's for me to know and you to find out," she replies.
