The glamorous and mysteriously ageless Rekha has agreed to play a less than resplendent character in Ram Gopal Varma`s BhootNow this one is hard to digest. Truly. The still glamorous, mysteriously ageless actress Rekha would rather be dead than be seen in public sans make-up.
And even when she deigns to call anybody home, which is very rarely, she makes it a point to present herself in her best attire replete with all the trappings of stardom. It was rather shocking to find her wearing a scary look on the sets of Ram Gopal Varma`s Bhoot. The actress chose to give full rein to her arrogance even when director Ramu politely asked her to speak to the press for a while. "I am tired," is all he could get in response to his request.
But Rekha and deglamorised? For someone who insisted on wearing full make up, down to her favourite shade of lipstick, mascara and rouge for a death scene in Maang Bharo Sajna, wouldn`t it be a comedown?
