Remember Iftekhar, the famous actor in so many of those Amitabh films? The one who used to play a cop in every second film, or was that every film? Now he has a very sexy female following in his footsteps.

Bipasha seems to have taken a leaf out of the actor`s police diary. She will be seen in two of her forthcoming releases as a policewali. Bipasha`s next, the David Dhawan film, Chor Machaye Shor, (with Shilpa in the lead) will see her wielding the lathi as a cop. We would have thought that courtesy her toothpaste ad, Vidisha Pawate, would be the hottest lady cop in the modeltown. But no, since Bipasha is also playing that role again in Gunaah, opposite Dino. The difference is that the former is a comic caper while the latter is a violent love story. Speaking of which, for a couple who has been in an on-again, off-again relationship those two surely pack a lot of steam in their love songs.

Coming back to cops, it sure is a welcome change from paunchy, balding character actors, who are seen as cops in the new masala films.
