. Even Jagmohan Mundhra, the creator of films like Kamla, Bawandar, Provoked and Shoot on Sight, has started believing in that much tried and approved vogue in Bollywood. Thus, leaving his trendy bigscreen reality shows aside, the acclaimed director has thought of trying his hand at comedy, romance and perhaps thriller, too.
Keeping in mind the strata of Govinda fans, Jag will soon commence a romantic comedy in that style only.
Jag, dreaming about trying out every genre of film, thinks his approach towards this making as a challenge for him. He believes that besides being a filmmaker he has an identity of a storywriter, too.
He is supposed to take care of whatever story, be it a social issue, a thriller or a comedy; he is offered to say through his films.
This Govinda starrer flick will showcase the story of a forty year Londoner who goes through strange psychological stages. That character lacks in making social friendship, especially with ladies.
He undergoes professional training on conversation at a London based institute to cope up with the situation. During that training they realize that the man can show immense change in his behaviour if he gets married to someone.
Thus, he gets married to Ayesha Takia who is from Hrishikesh, India. But this marriage makes situations hilariously problematic for the guy. Situational comedy is the most insisted matter of this film.
Rolling under the banner of Shemaroo Films, the romantic comedy is expected to be ready to release at the end of this year. But that won't be the end of Jag's experimentation with different genres.
After that he will start working on two thrillers. Roommate, one of the thrillers, is under Parvez Damania and Ajam Khan's company ‘One More Shot' and the second one thrilling experience will be made for Anuj Saxena's Maverick Productions.
Now the time will only reveal whether Jag can prove his expertise in treating different genres like his serio-social dramas.
