Film and TV actor Aanjjan Srivastav celebrated his 60th birthday with party on 2nd June at The Club, Mumbai. As Aanjjan is an active member of IPTA it was a reunion sort of for IPTA members as most of them came to wish the birthday boy.

There were Raman Kumar, Ramesh Talwar,music director Kuldeep Singh, Avtar Gill,Sulbha Arya, K K Raina, Ila Arun, Bharat Kapoor, Dharmesh Tiwari,Shaily Sathyu (daughter of director M S Sathyu) etc. When Poonam Sinha came and greet her "Jodha Akbar" co-star Ila Arun the Mahogany Hall of the hotel was filled with flashes of flash bulbs of media persons.

Ila Arun was also flooded with congratulations for the victory of Rajasthan Royals in recently concluded 20 20 matches, Ila has sung the motivational song for this team.

The event had it's share of emotional moments too. While talking to media persons about his journey of 60 years the tears started rolling on the cheeks of Aanjjan when he spoke about the role of his sister who is now no more.It was she who had encouraged and supported Aanjjan to try his luck in films.

Fresh from the laurells of "Chak De India" Aanjjan is now eagerly looking forward the releases of "Yuvraj","Mr. And Mrs. Mittal", "Hawai Dada","Mere Khabon Mein Jo Aaye", ''Pathshala","Mudrank","The Man'' etc. Aanjjan is playing important roles in all these films. Now...now..Aanjjan has all the reasons to celebrate his birthday in style.
