Ajay is quite a funny man. Contrary to his reserved image, the actor often comes up with funny one-liners from time to time. This time his victims were poor Sharad & Mauli, the anchors of Zee's Rock N Roll Family.

Dressed in a green dress, Mauli was all geared up to start the shooting for the next episode while Sharad was complimenting her co-star by wearing a green jacket.

Ajay found this "green" combination rather unusual and his cheeky mind almost instantly arrived at the perfect adjective for them. Ajay addressed both of them as "green vegetables".

So while Mauli became ‘bhindi' and Sharad became ‘karela', everyone around had a good hearty laugh at the incident.
