Simran is now doing a serial for the small screen. The serial is now being aired on MAA TV.

She did not have a great time in her second innings as her two films, Okkamogadu and John Appa Rao 40+ did not do well at the box office. Simran is now facing a problem from a producer.

The producer paid an advance of rupees 75, 000 to Monal, sister of Simran to act in a film. The money was paid in the presence of Simran and her mother.

Monal passed away some time back. The producer is now asking Simran to repay the amount but she is not responding to him
