Shoot On Sight is a fictional drama based on the effects of the London bombings and anti-terrorist operations
following 7 July 2005.
The story focuses in particular on Tariq Ali, a Scotland Yard Muslim police officer originally from from Lahore. Ali is
given the task of hunting down suspected suicide-bombers involved in the 7 July attacks.
But his investigation gets hampered when police marksmen kill an innocent Muslim in a London Underground
station.
Further complications ensue when Ali, now a British citizen, marries an English woman.
Life takes a turn for the worse when he becomes the prime suspect in the eyes of his colleagues, despite his long
service record.
Not trusted by either his superiors in the police department or other Muslims, he finds his
inquiry hampered from all sides.
Director Jagmohan Mundra is renowned for making films inspired by real events. With 27 years of film industry
