Says Anubhav, "I've to meet Sansar Chand to understand the mind of a poacher, his relationship with wild animals specially tigers.
My next film entitled Kajri which I'm writing and producing is about the relationship between a forest officer and a man-eating tigress with whom he develops an enduring bonding."
The relationship between a tiger and a forest officer is not what would be called ideal material for a film.
But that's exactly what Anubhav Sinha has decided to film. "It's not as if I'm trying to be eco-friendly or making a film that would get me the approval of the green revolutionaries.
It's an idea I've been fascinated with for a long time. And I'm not making a film like Haathi Mere Saathi or Jaanwar Aur Insan.
Kajri will explore the whole complex relationship between Man and Nature. But to understand the relationship I need to get into the mind of people who have explored the life in the jungle first-hand."
This where Sansar Chand comes in.
"My film will have a character based on him. But I first need to meet him. I've been trying to do so for some time now. But so far in vain."
