Well most people have taken it for granted she is a Punjabi, thanks to her role in Hats Off Productions' Baa Bahu Aur Baby in which Sweta Keswani essays the role of Gudiya.

The lady says, once a fan came up to her at the airport and started speaking to her in fluent Punjabi leaving the lady completely perplexed. She had to literally break him in and explain that she could not follow a word he was saying.

This left the man completely speechless apparently.

In many other occasions too, ladies come upto her and compliment her natural look in the show. Infact Sweta says the situation has become such that, people just refuse to believe she is not really a Punju.

"Its surprising how people are so convinced I am actually like my character Gudiya in real life too. That's the best part of working with Hats Off Production. Aatish and JD Majethia.

They clearly define the character and see to it that it come across genuinely on screen as well. I have never had such a feedback before even for my vamp roles also." Says Sweta.

Well Sweta, that's the power of having a powerful show with an outstanding role.
