Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty will now be seen as an anchor in the reality television show 'Big boss season II', on the new entertainment channel 'Colors' that will go on air from August.

The date of launch of the show will be announced soon, but the names of the 13 participants will be announced only at the time of launch, sources from the channel said.

All the shooting will be done in Lonavala and the show is expected to continue for three months, sources said.

The first season of the show was aired on Sony entertainment channel, when Arshadwarsi played the host. Shilpa will now take up the role.

Notably, Shilpa attained stardom after she won the English reality television show Big brother, on the lines which Big boss was started.
