In her forthcoming film, Meet The President, her character is that of a Bangla writer who is also a social activist.

This film being directed by Kunal Roy Kapur is adapted from a play by the same name. It explores a day in the life of 10 contestants who will stop at nothing as the most powerful man in the world; the US President is all set to come into their town.

Konkona shall be playing one of these ten contestants who are supposed to represent the "New India" in front of the US President.

Shenaz Patel (of Black fame) will also be seen as one of the fellow contestants. In the film, these contestants are supposed to undergo a series of bizarre tests to prove their mettle. Meet The President is a Rohan Sippy production.

Despite her last release, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag not working at the box office, the talented Konkona has her hands full.
