Most of the filmmakers went ahead with the schedule as cancelling a shoot leads to huge loss of time and money.
'Our studio is located in such a place where there is no water logging. The rain had no impact on shooting in our studio because we have a large area and people can easily find alternatives, ' said S.G. Desai of ND Studio.
Sunil of Filmalaya said the work went on without any cancellation except one serial by Creative Eyes.
The situation was the same at Film City. Here too, people worked at normal pace and shootings went on as scheduled. Goldie Behl's 'Drona' and Madhur Bhandarkar's film were shot. Only Jai Production, which had booked the studio for the shooting of its serial 'Maa', cancelled the shoot, said officials at Film City.
Filmstan Studio also had a normal day, informed studio manager Murari Sakseria.
However, the two day's shoot of Prakash Jha's serial 'Bahubali' was cancelled in Essel Studio Sunday and Monday.
'Every year, rain definitely hinders the normal shooting process, but by and large it goes on as usual, ' said Yashodhara Govind, Essel Studio manager.
He added that besides Jha Production's, another booking by Channel V for a promo shoot was also cancelled due to the heavy rain.
However, Ashok Gurnani of Gemini studios informed that many shoots in his studio were cancelled due to the rain, but refused to give details.
