Amidst a full media blitzkrieg, Darsheel's childlike innocence was on full display. when asked, 'do you think kids will wear this brand, just because you are endorsing it? Darsheel said, " I hope so; i think they will."
Flanked by a protective mother, as also the marketing team of Spykar, Darsheel was giving media interviews by standing on a stool; so that reporters did not have to bend too much with their mikes.
Darsheel said at the event, "I was in school on the friday taare zameen par released. I transformed from a nobody to a recognised face in just one day. Sometimes, I feel very strange that all this is happening to me."
Hot on the trail of his next project which has not been disclosed yet to the media, this is Darsheel's second brand, the first being Horlicks. Sanjay Vakharia, marketing Director Spykar said.
"Darsheel is the only genuine child celebrity in India and we are very happy that he's endorsing OYO.
We feel that his image as a talented child will have a great halo effect on the brand." Oyo-jeanswear for the smart kid is India's first denimwear brand for kids. Also present at the event was Prasad Pabrekar, owner Spykar and Oyo who believed that with the launch of Oyo, spykar would soon become the largest apparel brand in the country.
