/>On Wednesday, morning –time travelers at Mumbai's international airport were shocked to see Abhishek and Aishwarya emerging out of a flight from New York.

Weren't they supposed to be touring the US with their parents for the live concerts?!

Leaving behind the rest of the family in New York, Abhishek and Aishwarya had to fly back to Mumbai for a dinner hosted by Omega (Abhishek is their brand ambassador) for the Olympics team.

After attending the dinner Abhishek and Aishwarya jetted out of Mumbai to join the family for the next family concert in Houston.

Though the Big B and Jaya were seriously concerned about the jet-lag factor precipitated by such breathless traveling, the couple had no choice but to fly in for the event and fly back to the next venue in the US.

Says the indulgent father from New York, "Yes this is crazy ! Abhishek and Aishwarya have travelled the other way over the Pacific to Shanghai and then to Mumbai and Delhi for an event for Omega, which could not be postponed.Then they'll travel back the next day to be in time for the show in Houston."

The Big B thanks his stars he has no such engagements to rush back to in Mumbai. "I don't have any such pressing engagements.

But I did do similar travel during the 1990's when I was on a concert tour and my father took ill. I would perform over the weekends and travel to be with him in the week and then back to USA to perform on stage. This went on for over six weeks."
