Manisha Koirala is in for major trouble. As days roll on, she seems to be losing out on sympathizers even among females who might have bought her logic before. Use of a body double is an age-old practice in Bollywood. She would definitely have known that. Hence, her crying foul at the obscene scenes will not be entertained. If having control over the scenes in which she appears is in question, she ought to have intervened early in the project.

Then the selection of the topic. At the outset, she should have understood that a film about a 12-year old boy`s obsession with a much older woman wherein he invades her privacy with the help of a telescope cannot be seen as an act of puppy love. It hints at voyeurism and might necessitate explicit scenes.

Finally, about the treatment. Sample this. A 20-something Indian woman lives in an apartment in the middle of the city where there are no servants, no security men and no neighbours. Her windows are without curtains or screens of any kind. Lastly, the lady moves around in the house wearing next to nothing! Now, where in India do single women live such carefree and irresponsible lives, Manisha?
