According to media reports Aamir Khan is supposed to direct Amitabh Bachchan in a film produced under his banner, Aamir Khan Productions.

The film is said to be a sci-fi thriller and with budget close to Rs 70 crore. But all this we found is mere speculations. A Mumbai tabloid first carried this report and it was lapped up by rest of the papers and entertainment websites followed by news channels. The truth however is there is no such film being made.

A very close associate of Aamir revealed to us, "Aamir has not even decided upon which subject he is going to direct his next film on, leave alone selecting the actors for it! Unless Aamir himself announces who is going to star in his film and what theme it is based upon, one should not believe such speculated news items.

In fact he wants to take a break from direction till he completes his Ghajini, 3 Idiots and his other home production, Delhi Belly. In Delhi Belly he won't be acting but just playing the part of the producer.

Perhaps the reports about Aamir taking Mr. Bachchan for his next directorial venture started pouring out after one saw the mega superstar attending Aamir's nepher Imran Khan starrer Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na premiere and then openly praising it on news channels.

There was supposedly a cold war happening between the two after Aamir had criticized Big B starrer Black and Big B had hit back at him for the same.

But after Amitabh Bachchan came in for the grand premiere of Aamir produced Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na everyone assumed alls well between the two and Big B is now going to work under Aamir!"
