Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary actor who revamped the face of Hindi cinema with his angry-young-man-image, will soon have a book to his credit, titled To Be Or Not To Be. The book will be released to mark the occasion of his 60th birthday celebrations on 11th October 2002.

The book written by journalist filmmaker Khalid Mohammed, has an uncanny reference to the protagonist of Shakespeare`s play Hamlet, both Bachchan and Hamlet being characteristically indecisive. The 400-page coffee-table book is offset by 800 photographs, showcasing the hotshots of Big B`s life and times. The book also has chapters penned by his family.

Also, a book written by Hindi journalist Sumant Mishra, titled Main Amitabh Bol Raha Hoon, will be released a few days after Bachchan`s birthday. A wonderful way to celebrate his 60th birthday, which in keeping with tradition is said to be shasthipurti, a significant milestone in a person`s life!
