Actress Rambha on Tuesday denied rumours of an attempted suicide after being discharged from an overnight stay in a private nursing home.

Rambha was down with food poisoning and was in the hospital for observation. Unfortunately it didn't take time for rumors to be spread that the actress had tried to attempt suicide.

Rambha was flooded with phone calls from various lots ranging from co-stars, to producers, to directors, to fans across the nation. She says she was loaded with various questions as to why she was committing suicide and she had a hard time letting everyone know the truth.

Born Amritha on June 5 1976, the actress changed her name to Rambha and has acted in over 100 movies in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and Bhojpuri.
