Television actress Rakhi Vijayan, best remembered for playing Sweety in the comedy show "Hum Paanch", was Friday voted out of reality show "Bigg Boss" in the second
week of the programme.
While exiting the "Bigg Boss" house, Rakhi hugged all her housemates and said that "no one must cry" because she was leaving.
On coming out, host Shilpa Shetty asked her to describe her stay in the house in one word and she replied: "Fantastic".
Asked who the "sweetest" house member was, Rakhi said: "Rahul (Mahajan) was the sweetest among all... We were like a house on fire and I'm sure he will win the
game."
Rakhi entered the "Bigg Boss" house Aug 17 along with 13 other participants, mostly celebrities, to take part in the second season of the programme.
The
participants are to spend three months closeted in a house sans any communication with the outside world. The winner of the show gets to walk away with a cash prize of
Rs.750, 000.
Rakhi got as many as seven nominations from other house members in the second nomination episode aired Monday as her co-participants felt she was extremely
scheming and cunning. Some also felt that she was behind the emerging groupism on the show.
Actress Payal Rohatgi had said Monday that she has "seen Rakhi's behaviour change from the day she came till now and I don't like people with double
standards".
Rakhi became close friends with Rahul, son of late Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Pramod Mahajan, and actress Monica Bedi on the show. On Monday, she was
nominated to be voted out along with Rahul.
A vote-out nomination is held every Monday and a nominated contestant is evicted every Friday based on audience votes.
Television czarina Ekta Kapoor and her actor brother Tusshar Kapoor made a special appearance on Friday's show to promote their film "C Kkompany".
