On Friday after Shilpa finished recording her interview with Ekta and Tusshar Kapoor for the reality show Big Boss in Lonavala, Shilpa was stopped from returning to Mumbai by supporters of politician Ramdas Athavle who laid siege of the Big Boss venue and pelted Shilpa's cars with stone.

Characteristically ebullient Shilpa couldn't stop laughing. "They wouldn't let me leave. And they were pelting stones at my car! What had my poor car done to earn their wrath?

What have I done, will someone please tell me? Will Mr Athavle and his supporters please understand that I had nothing to with the nomination of candidates for Bigg Boss?"
