Bollywood actress Preity Zinta will attend the special screening of her film "Heaven on Earth", about domestic violence, at the 33rd Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) that started Thursday.

Preity, who is currently touring with the Bachchans on their 'Unforgettable' tour, plays the leading role of a young Indian Punjabi woman who finds herself in an abusive arranged marriage with an Indo-Canadian man, played by Vansh Bhardwaj.

"Preity, director Deepa Mehta, producer David Hamilton and Vansh will be present at the special screening on Sep 6, " said Sanjay Bhutiani, executive producer and chief executive officer, BR Films.

"Our film has a wide appeal and I think TIIF is the perfect place for its premiere as it has a lot of exposure. Besides, our film is also based on Toronto, so what could be a better place than TIFF to premiere it, " Bhutiani told.

He said the film will be released in India in November. It will also be showcased in Canada, US and Britain.
