Q. Do you have a faith on Lord Ganesha? (If not) who do you worship at home?
A. Yes, I do have faith on Lord Ganesha. But actually I have faith on humanity. I believe that God is in everybody and we are the children of God.

Q. Are you a regular visitor to "Siddhivinayak" on every Tuesday?
A. No, I am not a regular visitor to Siddhivinayak.

Q. Ganapati puja is going on. Do you worship Ganapati at home?
A. Yes, I with my family members worship Ganapati at home.

Q. What is your planning about celebrating ganapati puja this year?
A. In Maharastra, it's a very popular thing. Every Maharashtrian has his or her own Ganapati. It's a huge festival for us. We are quite keen on few things. We are keen that Ganapati should be Eco-friendly. Then we are keen that no one else faces any kind of problem because of us. I consider it as a very private thing.

Q. Have you been attached to Ganapati puja since childhood?
A. Yes, I have been attached to Ganapati puja since childhood. Every year I am eagerly waiting for this festival. In my house my brother-in-law makes the idol of Ganapati with his own hands.

Q. Any special memory about ganapati puja?
A. Not really, because it's a very biased thing. And I believe that it's a very personal and family oriented festival.

Q. What type of celebration do you prefer - noisy celebration i.e. with music and sound etc, or simple and calm celebration in homely atmosphere?
A. I really prefer simple, calm celebration in homely atmosphere. We started that puja with some purpose. But today that purpose is lost. And we just spend a lot of money for nothing. If we collect all that money, we can definitely do something much better.

Q. What do you say about the pollution and noise, created in Mumbai during ganapati visarjan?
A. I am completely against it. The people who are spending a lot of money for it is totally meaningless. I think there are many other causes for which that money can be used. And if you have faith there is no need to show it. You should have it in your mind and heart.

Q. You must know that Ganapati idols will not be immersed in water this year and instead it has to be earthed. What do you think about that?
A. It's really a very good plan and I really appreciate it.

Q. Which is the song, related to Ganesha puja, that you find most close to your heart?
A. I like Ganapatiji ki Aarti which is sung by Lata Mangeshkar. - Swati Dey
