Shivani Gosain who plays Chandni Bhabi in the show Rubi on 9x was shocked when no one recognized her at the launch party of Rubi.

Shivani who normally dresses up in a traditional outfit for her role came at the launch party in an indo–western look and looked completely different from her usual self. Not to mention she looked quite svelte and chic in that outfit!

She was stunned when people gave her an all-knowing look, but still could not place her as Chandni from the show.

Shivani says matter-of-factly," I was not at all expecting this unfamiliarity, but when my director recognized me I felt at ease.

Then gradually everyone started recognizing me and complimented me on my never-before-seen look. That's when I realized that I must be so convincing in my role that no one imagined that I have another side to me."
