It was only a matter of a `kiss`. But Amisha Patel decided to `tell` it first to all and sundry. To make matters worse, she even called mom Asha Patel on the sets.But on the sets of Mere Jeevan Saathi, when director Suneel Darshan yelled `action`, there were more than the regular unit members and the cast around to have a dekko of the much publicised kiss.

It was at this moment that the actress pressed the panic button. "O God, how can I act with so many pairs of eyes watching?" she asked. After the shot was okayed, a cool as cucumber Akshay Kumar merely stood there and grinned all to himself, After all, he had done this so many times before on screen.When Amisha asked her co star how could he be so unaffected by the crowd, he answered smilingly,"You made a big fuss about something as normal as this by announcing it to the world. What`s the big deal?"

Amisha, who didn`t realise that her onscreen `act` would snowball into a controversy of such proportion, virtually cried when every producer called her up to ask if it was okay for them to include `such a scene` in their scripts. "I thought telling people beforehand would prepare me well in advance," she explained later.Prepare you for what? The onslaught?
