Bollywood star Salman Khan, whose recent car crash resulted in the death of one person, has been asked by the police to surrender his passport whilst his case is being investigated.

However the actor is also facing a new, additional controversy. A member of the police force has alleged that they have tapped conversations between Salman Khan and two leading members of the underworld: Abu Salem and Chhota Shakeel. The tapped conversations are apparently similar to the ones that were publicly released a while back, featuring fellow Bollywood star and one of Salman Khan`s best friends - Sanjay Dutt.

Salman`s career is already facing an all-time low thanks to the car accident, which has resulted in various protests against the actor. If these taps are released and show an involvement between him and the underworld, his public image will take another major dent.
