The National Award winner, who enacted the role of poetess-courtesan Umrao Jaan in the Muzaffar Ali film, has always been a passionate patron of music and ghazals and has been known to attend private mehfils of Mehdi Hasan and Ghulam Ali among others.From sizzling on the screen to Sufism, that`s what we call a women of substance.
