Akshay Kumar has turned over a new leaf. No he hasn`t decided to concentrate on performance-oriented roles nor has he vowed to stop his flirtatious activities. His dalliance with his female co-stars on the sets of any film he stars in, is legendary now - what with every actress, new or established, cosying up to him while the shoot schedules continue.

What has brought about a drastic change in him is his new-born baby boy for whom the actor cancelled his itinerary and returned half way through his schedule. Initially the actor had requested his producers whose sets had been erected to allow him a two-week break. But even after spending every waking hour with his bonny baby during which time he would rock the baby to sleep and attend to his every demand, Akki hasn`t had enough. He refuses to report for shoots and keeps postponing appointments.

Must say this bundle of joy has done what many of his papa`s girlfriends could not – make him a domesticated family man. It has brought back peace too on the home front - for once, biwi Twinkle is not full of grievances. She coolly sleeps through afternoons when papa dear papa changes nappies.
