Sources say that Goldie Behl's next film might be 'Drona 2'. In fact, he has already written a major part of the script for the sequel and will be casting soon.
The director's logic is that children loved his movie. Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan apparently praised his film. Also 'Drona' happened to be the first film of his three year old son Ranvir and the kid loved it a great deal. Now he plans to dedicate the sequel to the two little ones.
He thinks that children deserve more fantasies like 'Drona' and not crime thrillers and sex comedies. The intentions are noble; only wish the filmmaker had told a solid story in his fantasy adventure!
He said that critics should have at least appreciated the fact that he attempted an unexplored genre and did something original.
Looks like Goldie has forgotten that many noticed similarities to various foreign film in 'Drona'.
Like a good pal, Abhishek Bachchan who played the title role in the movie and has done sequels of 'Dhoom' and 'Sarkar', is supporting Goldie in this endeavour.
Small B thinks that the audiences are just confused as they saw something new on screen. New we aren't sure, but confusing it indeed was!
At the end of the movie Drona's son is tailed by the same supernatural powers as his father. Chances are the sequel launch a new young actor as Abhishek's son and will carry forward the adventures of 'Drona' into a new realm.
Even if he mightn't be playing the lead role again, it seems Abhishek will have a lot to do with his friend's tryst with the unreal and illogical again! The journey has already begun after all!
