Post 'Jassi Jaisi Koi nahi', the actress tried her level best to make a mark in Bollywood. But the film that she was supposed to do with Bobby Bedi never happened.

It seemed her dream of making 'her debut with Ranbir Kapoor only' (in her words without even thinking once that she would look like an amma in front of him) wasn't going to come true! She's being seeking solace in reality naach gaana shows for long.

But now after struggling for donkey's years she's getting a chance to work in a movie that last. And the movie is 'Three Idiots' by Rajkumar Hirani no less, based on Chetan Bhagat's famous novel, 'Five Point Someone'.

The film will have Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi as her co stars.

That's big news but the bigger news is that Mona reportedly celebrated hard on the occasion of her '27TH B'day' on October 8TH.

A former friend of the actress tells us, "Well, Mona deserved 'Jassi' and she deserves this big movie as well. She's been struggling hard for more than ten years now.

In fact we used to travel together for auditions from Pune as struggling models. I'm happy for her but she's surely not 27 or 28. She was in her 20s then and so she's easily in her 30s now. So like many other actors she's lying."

Now we can't help but believe this as Mona darling's face and all the extra flab on her body easily gives away her age!
