Suneil Shetty and Ekta Kapoor's joint venture EMI was slated for release this Diwali, on Wednesday, October 29 along side GOLMAAL RETURNS and FASHION.

But EMI has been shifted ahead, to November 7. The reason for the postponement is said to be shortage of theatres, since GOLMAAL RETURNS and FASHION have blocked a majority of screens already.

Shifting the film to a latter date is the right decision, since EMI will get a better chain of theatres now.
