Talk about getting into the skin of the character, and aamchi mulgi Eesha Kopikar takes it to the next level. There was a scene where director Lalit needed Eesha to look starved in a scene for her forth coming film Shabri.

Eesha being the professional that she ate minimal food just enough to sustain herself for two days fighting spells of dizziness and cramps in order to feel the character.

"I requested the director to complete the shot in one take as i knew the first morsel of food that i put into my mouth would be the genuine expression of a starving woman."

Its a welcome change to see that some actors are willing to put themselves through physical and mental hardships to portray the essence of the character.
