After his directorial debut Dostana with mentor Karan Johar, Tarun Mansukhani is going to strike again with a Dharma Productions film, Koochie Koochie Hota Hai. This animated version of Karan's directorial debut,
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is being co-produced by Prana Studios, a Los Angeles and Mumbai based renowned 3D animation studio.
Sources claim, "Tarun has already begun working on this animated love story remake. There are only three main characters of SRK, Kajol and Rani and currently the production team is working on the set up of the
film.
It's going to be a huge task to have similar set up but animated as the music of the film will be the same. The dubbing of the each characters is remaining. SRK will start work on this project by February.
This film will show the love triangle of dogs."
Karan is hoping to release this film in August next year. Sources further add, "Karan is looking at things personally as well but after December 15 he will go to Los Angles to start his shooting for My Name is Khan. So
he wants a lot of things pertaining to his first animated venture get underway as soon as possible."
