Samir Karnik's multi starrer Heroes has surprised many by doing pretty well in the International markets. The film had taken a good 70-80% opening in the domestic circuit, especially in North India.

It was released along side Yash Raj's first animated film Roadside Romeo. While Roadside Romeo has now flopped, Heroes has proven a dark horse.

In the overseas market, Roadside Romeo was touted to be a bigger hit compared to Heroes, considering the fact that it was a Yash Raj - Walt Disney product whereas Heroes was carrying dull reports before the release.

But the tables have turned in Heroes' favour. NRI's have liked the emotional journey of Heroes whereas has given a thumbs down to Roadside Romeo which offers nothing new apart from great animation.

The overseas collections for Heroes for its three opening days stands as follows -

In the United Kingdon the film has grossed Rs. 85 lakhs.

In North America the film has grossed Rs. 1.65 crore in North America

In the rest of the World the film has grossed Rs. 1.25 crore.

That means in total Heroes has grossed Rs. 3.75 crore in the overseas circuit in just three days.

Roadside Romeo on the other hand has managed just Rs. 75 lakhs from its total worldwide collections. The film has failed to make any impact!

Last week's release, Karzzzz has proven a major disaster in the overseas market with a mere Rs. 1.75 crore collections world wide from its one week run!
