Hollywood actor Will Smith is determined to fulfill his promise to star in a Bollywood movie.

He has been taking advice from "Slumdog Millionaire" director Danny Boyle, reports contactmusic.com.

Boyle turned his hand to making a film in India with his latest project, which was shot in Mumbai and the moviemaker is convinced that Smith is serious about trying his luck in a different genre of pictures as Smith made several trips to visit him onset in India.

"While we were filming there, Will Smith came over twice. There's a massive coming together of Bollywood and Hollywood. It'll only take one person to bring them together and it will be huge, " Boyle said.

Smith also sought out Indian actor Anil Kapoor, who confirmed that the actor recently paid him a visit.

"Yes, he came to visit us. He came to my residence. Very nice chap, " Anil Kapoor said.
