The movie is releasing and is very much awaited by the Indian audience this time. The last bond movie, Casino Royale was a big time hit.
Here we will discuss a few Firangi Bond movies (block busters) with the Indian Bond movies (you might have not even heard of them)
Let us take the Indian Bond Movies first:
1. Himmat: (1996): Directed by Sunil Sharma. The movie started Sunny Deol, Tabu and Shilpa Shetty. It was one of the biggest flops of the year.
2. Agent Vinod: (1977): Directed by Deepak Bahry, the movie started Mahendra Sandhu, Asha Sachadeva and Rehana Sultana.
3. Bond 303: (1986): Directed by B.B. Devra starring Jeetendra and Parveen Babi
4. Mr. Bond: (1992): Directed by Raj.N. Sippy the movie started Akshay Kumar and Sheeba.
For 40 years, the Bond franchise (Connery. Lazenby. Moore. Dalton. Brosnan) has brought the world the exploits of the world's greatest secret agent. Now time for the Firangi Bond Movies:
1. Goldfinger: (1964): Directed by Guy Hamilton. Sean Connery's third entry as 007 and considered by many to be the best of the series.
2. Goldeneye: (1995): directed by Martin Campbell. Remington Steele finally gets a crack at Bond, and he does a superlative job. Perfectly balancing the cold-bloodedness of Connery and the humor of Moore, Pierce Brosnan firmly plants his mark on the franchise.
3. The Spy Who Loved Me: (1977): Directed by Lewis Gilbert. Roger Moore did a lot for the Bond franchise, and this one is possibly his best. If you like larger than life action, this Spy is for you.
4. Doktor No: (1962): Directed By Terence Young. Before the extravagant budgets, before the millions of Bond afficianados, before Ms. Galore, there was Dr. No, the very first Bond entry. Sean Connery was the first bond actor. A lot of being hoped and expected from Quantam of Solace. Daniel Craig has surely done justice to his role in his first bond movie, Casino Royale.
His next flick, Quantam of Solace has much more demands and much more expectations. The best part is that the movie is releasing in India and then in U.S. so the Indian audience is really expecting a lot from it.
Let us see how much justice does Quantam of Solace does to the evergreen hit lists of the Bond Movies. We wish them Best of Luck!
