It has been more than 2 years since Onir and Sanjay Suri came together in Bas Ek Pal. Though the film wasn't a commercial success, there was critical acclaim from some quarters.

In the months gone by, the duo started working on Sorry Bhai which is now getting readied for 28th November release. For both Onir and Sanjay Suri, the film is important since they not just come together as director and actor respectively but also as co-producers of the film along with Vashu Bhagnani.

How commercially viable is the film going to be, one asks Sanjay Suri.

"Well, Sorry Bhai surely has a much wider audience base as compared to the earlier ones mainly due to its genre. Overall, lighter films with romance tend to find a vast viewership as compared to intense films.

Sorry Bhai is entertaining and light hearted so it naturally reaches out", says an ever smiling Sanjay Suri who was also seen in Speed, Say Salaam Namaste and My Bollywood Bride after the release of Bas Ek Pal.

While My Brother Nikhil got critical acclaim, Bas Ek Pal was appreciated in some circuits. Any lessons learnt from these two films that went into making Sorry Bhai?

"I wouldn't term it as lessons, but with time and with each film, one grows", Sanjay says in a matter of fact tone, "If the first two were emotionally more demanding then this one is far away from it, so it's also a refreshing change for us as a production house."

How about the captain of the ship, Onir? His films have been known for their sensitive treatment. Does Sorry Bhai follow suit as well?

Replies Sanjay in a philosophical tone, "I would call it sense and sensibility. Every director brings his signature to his work and what he aims to do with a subject. One can easily spot Onir's style in his work when it comes to Sorry Bhai."

The film is now less than 20 days away. Isn't it high time that the film's promotion picks up speed in a big way? Doesn't he feel that a lot more awareness is currently the demand of the situation?

"TV promos have started over the weekend gone by. 'Mumbai Mantra' has acquired the film and their team of professionals are looking into the entire marketing plan. You would see some solid escalation coming in days to come", says Sanjay in a reassuring tone.
