Recently Lara Dutta and Dino Morea were invited by America's premier professional men's basketball league National Basketball Association (NBA), for a NBA match between Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento
Kings. The match took place at Staples Centre on 23rd November in Los Angeles California.
Lara and Dino had traveled to Los Angeles, California to visit the NBA Los Angeles Laker's as a part of an all access VIP weekend. Lara and Dino also went to Lakers practice to meet their favorite player Kobe Bryant,
who is the 2008 NBA most valuable player.
The storied history of the franchise was highlighted in a tour of the Staples Center, the Lakers home since 1999, which features the retired jerseys of some of the
Laker's greats like Wilt Chamberlain and Ervin Magic Johnson.
They also sat courtside as Bryant and his Laker teammates took on the Sacramento Kings.
Lara and Dino also had a practice session with Kobe Bryant. David Beckham was also present at the match.
Dino said that as he also plays a lot of basketball he really enjoyed himself.
It was a fast paced, ardent and exciting experience. He feels that the passion and commitment of the NBA players will be
appreciated by the Indians and he would love to see more of the NBA action in India.
Lara said that she too had a great experience and would love to attend more of their matches in future. She feels that the game, the dancers and the fans all together create a mind-blowing atmosphere and firmly
believes that the NBA basketball is world class entertainment.
