Anuj Saxena has filed a legal case against Vikas Kalantri and Pooja Ghai and their company Whiteleaf. Anuj was said to be a partner with Vikas and Pooja in their company but they happen to part ways because the
two did not give Anuj his dues for the Golden Awards function which was held at Mauritius last year.
According to sources as Anuj was not given his dues by Pooja and Vikas so he decided to break the partnership.
This year the awards are going to take place in Dubai. Anuj is not a part of these awards
anymore but the the copyrights for the name of this awards property, (Gold) are with Anuj, so in that case it becomes illegal for both of them to give their awards property the same name and they had already done
that.
Therefore Anuj has served a legal notice to them and they are planning to decide a new name for the awards.
When asked Anuj he confirmed the news by saying he did send them a legal notice but was not comfortable talking about it.
But when asked Vikas about the notice he completly denied it and that he does not have any copy of any legal notice received from Anuj and that he had already changed the name of the award function and that also
registered it internationally.
Now the awards are known as Platinium Awards. He said that the name was already decided much before he was served a notice and that he feels that Anuj can go ahead and do
whatever he feels like but he has no authority to file any case.
Now the awards are known as Platinium Awards or the Whiteleaf Awards but a major issue now is that TV giant Balaji and Vikas Kalantri do not share a good relationship with each other therefore Balaji did not
participate in their award function last year it is very likely that they will boycott the awards function this year too. The award function will be held in Dubai on 20th December this year
