Ashutosh Kaushik may have won Bigg Boss 2 but his love story with former MTV Roadies participant Sonel Singh is over and out now. His Rs. 1 crore win joy has been very short-lived as that very show has ended up alienating him from his girlfriend forever.

Ashu had been saying on the show that Sonel was her girlfriend but neither did she came on any of the episodes when he was nominated for eviction nor she came to see him during the grand finale.

We had confronted Ashutosh outside the Bigg Boss house immediately after he was announced the winner about Sonel being upset about him and he had told us, "May be she mistook my friendship with Diana Hayden as love but we were just good friends who cared for each other.

I truly love Sonel and she knows it well. May be she is angry with me over some misunderstanding."

But as days passed, Ashu realized there was something more than what met the eye. Sonel completely stopped picking up Ashu's phone calls.

Ashu appeared very depressed about this and in fact told us, "Please call her and speak to her from your cell phone because she is just not picking up calls from my cell number."

There is also buzz that Sonel was upset about the fact that Ashu was publicly calling her (Sonel) his girlfriend during the entire time when he was inside the house.

But she on the other hand in many of her interviews has made some negative comments against her beau saying that he has always used abusive language and also that he's very violent with women.

A friend of his tells us, "Ashu has not been able to enjoy his victory at all and somehow he has now understood that Sonel is simply not interested in getting back in his life. All his efforts are going down the drain."
